Elizabeth Gingold

Beth Gingold founded Recycle Leaders, LLC to activate custodian leaders to achieve whole-building recycling behavior change. Beth has over 10 years of experience building and managing sustainability projects. In her 5 years with the DC Department of General Services she built the DCPS Recycles! program from scratch to one that has been presented as a best practice case study at the USGBC's School Sustainability Leaders Summit. One of her major challenges and accomplishments was learning how to leverage the school LEED modernization projects to achieve whole-school recycling behavior change. Her previous experience includes leading the research of the Indonesia Forest Team at the World Resources Institute in Washington DC and implementing a service learning course at the Janaagraha Center for Citizenship and Democracy in Bangalore, India. She is a LEED Green Associate and TRUE Advisor. She holds a Master of Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
