Pepper is a planner who enjoys making dreamer's dreams a reality through cost effective and efficient processes and logistics. She enjoys taking the big idea, breaking it down into manageable sections for implementation, and teaching the users to be effective delivering that great idea. Why? She loves building; people, places and things, by contributing to their growth, performance and success.
Pepper started her consulting business to help folks build the skills they need to achieve their dreams. Achieving success requires ideas and actions.
Pepper was previously with Davis Energy Group/Frontier Energy starting in 2007 managing the Residential Sustainability Consulting and Programs Group working on LEED for Homes, Enterprise Communities, Green Point Rated and other verification programs. She previously worked for D.R. Horton, Sacramento where she was a project manager working on Environments for Living and LEED for Homes projects.
Pepper is a LEED AP Homes, LEED for Homes Quality Assurance Designee, LEED for Homes Green Rater, TRUE Advisor, SITES AP, and GreenPoint Advisor. She is a past chair of the GreenBuild Program Working Group and sat on a number of national USGBC committees. Pepper taught several courses for USGBC including the Green Rater Workshop and Core Concepts. She also taught LERN online courses offered at colleges around the world and at UC Berkeley Extension in their Sustainable Building Certificate Program.
Pepper earned a B.S. in Merchandising/Marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi, a J.D. with a specialization in Environmental Law from Mississippi College, and an M.B.A. with a specialization in Marketing from the University of South Florida. Prior to building homes, she managed software development and R&D projects for 10 years using the Integrated Design Process.
